Hide Prices on the Wishlist PageUpdated 21 hours ago

Overview

Enabling this feature hides the product prices on your dedicated wishlist page (/a/wysh). You have full control over who sees your pricing, with options to hide prices for everyone, only guest visitors, or only logged-in customers.

Key Benefits

  • Incentivise Account Creation: Hiding prices for guests is a great way to encourage visitors to register for a store account.

  • Support B2B/Wholesale Models: Easily restrict price visibility so only approved, logged-in members can see product costs.

  • Streamline the UI: Creates a cleaner, distraction-free wishlist experience focused entirely on the products.

Prerequisites

  • This feature is available on the Core, Premier, and Ultimate app plans.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. From your Shopify Admin, navigate to Online Store.

  2. Click Edit Theme to open your Theme Editor.

  3. On the left sidebar, click the App embeds icon and expand the Wysh block.

  4. Scroll down to locate the Hide product prices for user type setting.

  5. Toggle this setting on.

  6. Set the dropdown to your preferred audience: All, Guest only, or Logged in only.

  7. Click Save in the top right corner of the Theme Editor to apply your changes.

TIP

If you select Guest only, consider adding a text block or banner elsewhere on your store letting visitors know they need to log in or create an account to view wishlist pricing!

Verification and Next Steps

To ensure your setup is working correctly, navigate to your live storefront and go to your wishlist page at /a/wysh.

  • If you selected Guest only, view the page while logged out to verify prices are hidden, then log in to ensure they reappear.

  • If you selected Logged in only, do the reverse.

  • If you selected All, verify that the prices are hidden regardless of your account status.
